I have found a jewel, hidden one at that. As someone who loves books and reads as much as possible, the Readers Warehouse is an absolute must visit. I tend to visit them every 8 weeks and my poor credit card gets exercise whether I want it or not.
I have bought some extremely good buys. Sir Richard Branson’s Business Stripped Bare for R80 was a steal, as I saw it on Kalahari.net for R280. Sir Clive Woodward’s recollection of the 1999 Rugby World Cup for a whole R20 (found it in the bargain bin). They must be the only place in Cape Town, where you can purchase hard cover books for R30-R40 a book.
I have made the mistake once of purchasing books at Kilo bookshops in Cape Town and subsequently found it at the Readers Warehouse for a much better price.
The only way for you to enjoy this delight, is by visiting it.
